This was the ​​​45th International iarigai Conference

The 45th iarigai Conference took place in Warsaw, Poland, from October 3rd to 7th 2018 at Warsaw University of Technology, Department of Printing Technologies, hosted by Prof. Georgij Petriaszwili as conference director and Prof. Zuzanna Żołek-Tryznowska as co-director. The conference was co-located with the 50th annual conference of the International Circle (IC); both conferences were to contribute to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Department of Printing Technologies.

Poland

The Republic of Poland is a country in Central Europe, a member of European Union since 2004. The current population of the country is 38.5 million. Poland has borders with Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. The official language in Poland is Polish, and the currency is Polish Złoty (PLN), which is approximately 4.4 EUR. Poland has a climate characterized by relatively cold winters and warm summers. Poland is in the Central European time zone and is thus one hour ahead of standard GMT in the winter months (CET) and two hours ahead from April to October (CEST).

Department of Printing Technology

Department of Printing Technology has its historical seat in Warsaw at Konwiktorska 2 Street, in a building constructed in 1928 for the School of Graphic Industry. It will be the main venue of the iarigai and IC conference.
